Madhav Gundure R/O village Sangavi (Tq
Degloor) a lord of less than Half acre
farm, was dragging through the life. He
used to run a small grocery too to support his financial needs. Hard working by nature, Madhav took the
maximum benefit out of his half acre land but he really started growing when he
came in contact with the KVK, Sagroli.
Madhav
was informed about the Mukt Ghota Project (Open Farm Shed) at KVK and he
implemented it immediately at his place.
He had only one buffalo earlier but now he owns 7 milk yeilding buffalos,
giving him a clear profit of Rs 1000/- per day.
The concept of ‘Mukt Gota’ allows the
domesticated animals to graze freely on the plains costing the land lord
nothing. They are healthier than the
barn-restricted animals and yield more milk.
Madhav runs a small grocery too. He reiterated the benefits of Mukt Gota
Project at the Krishi Taluka Mahostav organized at KVK Campus, Sagroli.
